It's an honour for Elkerlyc that the worldOutgames and Mr Gay World have chosen its theatre as the setting for a number of activities. The modernistic hall, built in 1957, has recently been renovated, but still manages to retain the atmosphere of a traditional theatre. With 800 seats, perfect acoustics and sightlines and state-of-the-art apparatus we can easily comply with everyone's wishes and requirements.

The name Elkerlyc has its origins in an Old-Flemish text from the 15th century. Elckerlyc means "everybody" and it is in this spirit that we are pleased to run our hall: everyone is welcome, irrespective of race, orientation, origin or social position. The worldOutgames and Mr Gay World are therefore in perfect harmony with this policy and we are looking forward with considerable enthusiasm to August 2013!
